Drishyam 3 crosses ₹563 crore worldwide on day 21

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion has crossed the ₹563-crore milestone in worldwide gross on its 21st day, according to Sacnilk data cited by The Times of India. The worldwide total now stands at ₹563.02 crore, while India net collections have reached ₹361.85 crore.

Thursday added ₹2.10 crore net in India across 4,503 shows, a 20.8 per cent drop from Wednesday’s ₹2.65 crore. For a film in its third week, that is a routine working-day dip rather than a sign of collapse.

The 21-day box office picture

  • Worldwide gross: ₹563.02 crore
  • India net: ₹361.85 crore
  • Domestic gross: ₹433.52 crore
  • Overseas: ₹129.50 crore
  • Third week so far: ₹28.85 crore

Third week daily rhythm

The week has moved in waves. Friday delivered ₹3.10 crore, Saturday ₹5 crore, and Sunday ₹6.25 crore. Monday eased to ₹3.50 crore, Tuesday recovered to ₹6.25 crore, and the following two days cooled to ₹2.65 crore and ₹2.10 crore.

That mid-week Tuesday spike is notable: it shows the film can still draw crowds when audiences get a reason to return, which is the real test after a blockbuster opening.

What footfalls and occupancy tell us

Day 21 recorded 14.65 per cent occupancy overall. Morning shows were quiet at 8.33 per cent, but the evening and night bands climbed to 17.17 per cent and 19.75 per cent. The film drew 115,247 footfalls on Thursday, taking its cumulative theatrical footfalls to 15,577,904, with an average of ₹4,664 per show.

For fans, those night-show numbers hint that the film is holding the after-work moviegoing crowd, even as the opening-week frenzy fades.

Why the milestone matters

After a ₹245.50 crore first week and an ₹87.50 crore second week, the third week has added ₹28.85 crore so far. The worldwide gross of ₹563.02 crore rests largely on domestic theatricals, with ₹433.52 crore in domestic gross and ₹129.50 crore from overseas.

The story itself is built to sustain word of mouth: Vijay Salgaonkar’s past returns through Meera Deshmukh, whose motive is now revenge, and a Crime Branch officer begins pressing on Vijay’s carefully built alibis. The fourth weekend is the next number to watch.
