Party Animals trailer: Viraj Ghelani leads the big-screen chaos
Party Animals trailer promises chaotic adult comedy, a Drishyam October 2 callback, and Viraj Ghelani in a big-screen lead when it releases November 20.

The first trailer for Party Animals is here, and true to its title, it looks like a film that never intends to behave. The upcoming comedy promises loud, colourful, slightly unruly energy, with Viraj Ghelani front and centre in a big-screen lead role.
The trailer: chaos with a knowing wink
The promo leans into a deliberately unserious telling of what could have been a straightforward story. Rather than laying out a neat plot, the trailer lets the comedy do the talking: mischief, bad decisions and the kind of adult humour that signals this one is best left for the grown-ups.
One standout in the promo is Kamlesh Sawant. He returns as a police officer and drops a reference to October 2, the date that became a running joke after Drishyam. It is a playful callback for fans, and it instantly gives the trailer a shared-memory hook.
Viraj Ghelani’s big-screen turn
Viraj Ghelani, known for his quick comic sketches and relatable everyday characters, steps into a full-fledged lead here. In a statement, he described the film as “the kind of madness that’s hard to explain but a whole lot of fun to experience,” adding that the film celebrates group energy, bhaichara and the collective bad decisions that turn into the best stories.
The ensemble adds familiar and fresh faces:
- Arjun Tanwar, Pragati Nagpal and Naqiyah Haji among the younger leads
- Kamlesh Sawant, Manoj Joshi, Vijay Patkar and Anil Charanjeett bringing the veteran energy
- Alam Khan, Saqib Ayub and Aaron Koul rounding out the group
Behind the camera
Ravi Chhabriya directs. His last directorial was Detective Sherdil, and his earlier credits include assisting on large-scale successes such as Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai. Ali Haji, who has writing credits on recent projects and is remembered as a child actor in Fanaa and Ta Ra Rum Pum, contributes to the film’s creative vision.
Why the trailer matters
For Hindi film fans, Party Animals sits in a familiar sweet spot: a mid-sized theatrical comedy built on friendship, chaos and an ensemble that mixes social-media popularity with seasoned character actors. The trailer makes no apology for aiming squarely at young audiences planning a night out.
The Drishyam reference also gives the film an instant pop-culture hook. Instead of building a completely new universe, it borrows a moment Hindi audiences already remember, which can help word of mouth.
Party Animals is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on November 20, 2026. For Hindi film fans who like their comedy loud and friendship-driven, it is an easy date to circle.
