Tum Mere Ho Trailer: Gurmeet Turns Producer, Isha Debuts 23 Oct

Gurmeet Choudhary has spent years winning over Hindi audiences on television and in films. Now he is betting on himself in a more direct way. The trailer for Tum Mere Ho is out, with Choudhary as the lead and, for the first time, as a producer. The film is slated for cinemas on 23 October 2026.

What the trailer puts on screen

The promo swings between romantic frames, emotional confrontations and flashes of action. Choudhary’s character is shown as someone with more than one side—soft in the love story and intense when the film shifts gears. The central relationship moves through love and heartbreak, with the usual romantic beats given a slightly tougher edge. Billed as a musical love story, the film looks set to lean on its songs as much as its drama.

  • Romance: The lead pair’s relationship is the spine, with chemistry clearly positioned as the first selling point.
  • Action: Choudhary gets moments of physical action that keep the film from feeling like a simple romantic drama.
  • Emotion: The makers promise a larger-than-life world that still wants to feel emotionally relatable.

Isha Malviya makes her big-screen debut here. The trailer gives her a role built around romance and emotional conflict, and the early footage leans on her pairing with Choudhary.

Why this is a real first step

Tum Mere Ho is the first project Choudhary has produced, under his home banner Deb Guru Films in collaboration with Reva Creative House. That changes the conversation around him. A star can shoot a film, promote it and move on; a producer has to live with every creative and commercial choice. For his audience, this is a chance to see whether his instincts work when he is both the face and one of the decision-makers.

This kind of move has become common in Indian entertainment: actors use their television fan base as a cushion while they try to expand into production or new film markets. The cushion helps with awareness, but the material still has to deliver. If the music and the romantic track land, Tum Mere Ho could work as a date-night film; if the genre blending feels scattered, it may struggle to find repeat audiences.

For Malviya, the film is a more traditional debut test. The jump from television to the big screen is not automatic, and the trailer suggests the film is betting on her freshness and her equation with the lead.

The makers’ pitch

Choudhary called the film “extremely special” because it marks his first journey as a producer and lets him tell a story he believes in. Malviya said the experience was “incredibly special” and that she hopes audiences connect with the characters. Director Ashish Panda framed the project as an attempt at a “larger-than-life experience while keeping emotions at its heart”.

The next few weeks will show whether the team has struck that balance. For now, the assignment for fans is straightforward: watch the trailer, judge the chemistry, and decide whether this is a 23 October theatre outing.
