Suriya’s Scene drops second song Aeroplane before Diwali

The second track from Suriya’s upcoming action-comedy Scene is a playful romantic number, with Sushin Shyam’s music and Gaana Bala’s vocals.

Suriya's Scene shares romantic second song Aeroplane

Suriya’s Diwali release just turned up the romance. The team behind Scene has dropped “Aeroplane,” the film’s second song, and it is an energetic, playful love number with a quirky lyric sheet.

What the new track sounds like

Composed by Sushin Shyam and sung by Gaana Bala, “Aeroplane” runs 2 minutes 31 seconds. The lyric video places Suriya and Nazriya Nazim together, but keeps the film’s larger story under wraps.

The song is written by Rajpriyan. The lyrics find Suriya’s character deciding he will stay beside Maya, played by Nazriya, no matter where life goes. The declarations are deliberately offbeat: he compares himself to a burning candle, an aeroplane circling around her, an Asian koel singing because of her, and even a red watermelon when he blushes.

“I will die melting like a burning candle,” goes one line — a playful confession with Sushin Shyam’s upbeat arrangement behind it.

Musically, Sushin Shyam’s arrangement keeps the track frothy even when the lyrics lean obsessive. That is the right fit for an action-comedy: the romance works because it is self-aware and playful, not heavy. Listen for how the comparisons stack up as the song moves from candle to aeroplane to Asian koel; each one is a small escalation of the same joke.

How it fits the bigger Scene

The song follows “Aathi Iva Yarraa,” the first track released earlier in October 2026. Where that song leaned peppy, “Aeroplane” shows the romantic side of Imbaraj IPS, the police officer Suriya plays in the film. It’s a smart bridge: the single sells the pairing of Suriya and Nazriya, while the next promo can push the action-comedy.

Directed by Jithu Madhavan, Scene is billed as a stylish action-comedy that mixes mass action, humour and romance. Alongside Suriya and Nazriya, the cast includes Naslen, Anandraj, Lal and Raj Priyan.

The film arrives for a worldwide theatrical run on November 6, 2026, timed to Diwali. For Suriya, it follows a strong 2026 with Karuppu and Vishwanath And Sons.

Why this song is worth your time

Here’s what makes “Aeroplane” more than another promo track:

  • It reveals the film’s romantic pulse without spoiling the plot. The lyric video teases a breezy Suriya-Nazriya dynamic and leaves room for surprises.
  • It extends a strong musical run. Sushin Shyam and singer Gaana Bala keep the film’s tone lively after the first single.
  • It arrives at the right moment. A Diwali release gets a second song weeks before the film, keeping the title in conversation.

Jithu Madhavan’s recent track record adds to the interest: he directed Romancham (2023) and Aavesham (2024), and wrote the widely praised Balan: The Boy (2026). The technical crew includes cinematographer Vineeth Augustian, editor Ajmal Sabu, production designer Ashwini Kale and action director Chethan D’Souza.

For now, “Aeroplane” is a charming, low-spoiler way to sample Scene. Fans can stream the lyric video and revisit it while waiting for the November 6 release.
