Drishyam 3 Day 17: Rs 343.15 Cr Net, Rs 528.77 Cr Global

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3: The Conclusion is writing a strong third Sunday story. On Day 17, the Abhishek Pathak-directed thriller added Rs 2.05 crore net by early tracking, pushing its India net to Rs 343.15 crore and its India gross to Rs 411.19 crore. According to Sacnilk, the film is running across 2,005 shows on Day 17.

Those are live numbers, so the final Day 17 domestic and overseas figures may move once evening shows are reported. But the direction is clear: the film is now within striking distance of the Rs 350 crore net mark in India.

The Rs 350 crore chase in India

After a Rs 245.50 crore first week and an Rs 87.50 crore second week, the film had banked Rs 333 crore by Day 14. The third Friday brought Rs 3.10 crore, and Day 16 added Rs 5 crore. The day-wise India net now looks like this:

  • Week 1: Rs 245.50 crore net
  • Week 2: Rs 87.50 crore net
  • Day 15: Rs 3.10 crore net
  • Day 16: Rs 5.00 crore net
  • Day 17 (live): Rs 2.05 crore net

At the current pace, the film is expected to cross Rs 350 crore domestic net during the upcoming weekdays.

Worldwide, the finale is closing in on Rs 550 crore

The overseas run has been steady after a strong opening weekend. Week one abroad added Rs 89 crore, led by Rs 18.50 crore on Day 1, Rs 23 crore on Day 2 and Rs 21 crore on Day 3. Week two contributed Rs 27 crore, taking the overseas gross to Rs 116 crore. Day 15 and Day 16 then added Rs 1.50 crore and Rs 2.50 crore, lifting the overseas total to Rs 120 crore.

Add the India gross of Rs 408.77 crore before the final Day 17 count, and the worldwide total comes to Rs 528.77 crore. The next global benchmark is Rs 550 crore gross, which the film is aiming to touch before leaving cinemas.

Why this third-weekend hold matters

The cast is led by Ajay Devgn as Vijay Salgaonkar, with Tabu returning as Meera Deshmukh and Shriya Saran, Ishita Dutta, Mrunal Jadhav, Rajat Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj in key roles. Director Abhishek Pathak has called the ending a fitting closure and, for now, ruled out a fourth instalment despite the film’s strong performance.

For fans, that turns this theatrical run into a farewell lap. If the film crosses the Rs 350 crore domestic net and Rs 550 crore worldwide marks, the franchise will get a strong, headline-making send-off.
