Hanuman Ansh Worldwide Gross Rs 449.38 cr; Day 72 Up 286.7%
Vishal Chaturvedi's spiritual drama has collected Rs 449.38 crore worldwide after 72 days, with Day 72 jumping 286.7% to Rs 58 lakh India net.

Day 72 is not supposed to be exciting for a theatrical release. But Hanuman Ansh just reminded trade watchers that a film’s late-run weekends can still deliver a genuine jolt.
Saturday’s sharp turn
Vishal Chaturvedi’s spiritual drama collected Rs 58 lakh in India net on Saturday, October 17, 2026, according to Sacnilk. That is a 286.7% jump over the Rs 15 lakh it earned a day earlier.
The uptick came with a modestly wider footprint. The film played 360 shows on Saturday, up from 352 on Friday, while overall occupancy rose from 12.2% to 21.2%. Footfalls climbed to 24,669 admissions on Day 72.
Where the totals stand
After 72 days in theatres, the worldwide gross has reached Rs 449.38 crore. The India net number stands at Rs 339.71 crore, with domestic gross at Rs 400.88 crore and overseas contributing Rs 48.50 crore.
- Saturday India net: Rs 58 lakh
- Friday India net: Rs 15 lakh
- Saturday occupancy: 21.2% against Friday’s 12.2%
- Worldwide gross: Rs 449.38 crore
Hindi keeps the film moving
The Hindi version accounted for nearly all of Saturday’s domestic earnings, collecting Rs 57 lakh from 354 shows at 21% occupancy. The Telugu version added Rs 1 lakh from just six shows, though its 35% occupancy suggests genuine interest in the smaller release.
The Telugu version opened on October 9, much later than the Hindi version’s August 7 debut, so the two editions are at different stages of their theatrical cycles.
The long tail is the real story
Industry watchers call this kind of late-run resilience a long tail: a film keeps earning smaller amounts week after week because a core audience keeps showing up. Few titles maintain that curve, but Hanuman Ansh has repeatedly found new audiences weeks after release.
The weekly pattern is striking. Week 1 opened with Rs 1.08 crore, but the film hit its biggest frame later: Week 5 delivered Rs 90.25 crore, followed by Rs 80.25 crore in Week 6. Even Week 10 contributed Rs 11 crore.
A 72-day-old title jumping 286.7% on a single Saturday is a small number in absolute terms. As a signal, though, it says the run still has pockets of demand, especially on weekends.
Who is this film for
Hanuman Ansh, directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, stars Shobhinaw Satyaa and Chandan Anand alongside Anil Rastogi, Purnima Tiwwari, Sugandha Malhotra, Bhagvandas Patel and Neha Paranjpe. The spiritual drama follows a young boy in pre-Independence India whose search for God leads him toward service and selfless love, before he becomes Neem Karoli Baba.
That devotional core helps explain why the film is still pulling audiences in its tenth week. For fans, the weekend numbers are a good reason to check local showtimes before the run finally winds down.
As with all trade figures, the numbers come from public and industry sources and remain approximate until studio data is fully updated.
