Yash’s Disneyland detour before Ramayana opens Nov 5

Fresh off early-morning LA promo, Yash picks Disneyland with his kids as the Ramayana cast shares off-duty wishlists before the Nov 5 release.

Yash's Disneyland detour before Ramayana opens Nov 5

The final leg of a global promotional tour is usually a blur of call times and soundbites. But Yash, in Los Angeles for Ramayana: Rise of a Legend, shaped his one free afternoon around a different priority: his children.

The actor has been juggling filming, producing and promoting, so a theme-park detour feels both earned and wildly relatable. Asked in a behind-the-scenes video what he most wanted to do in LA, Yash answered with a simple plan: “I’m going to Disneyland with my kids.” He added that it was his first time in Los Angeles, though he had been to Orlando before.

Ranbir Kapoor kept the theme-park thread going, telling the group that Disneyland and Universal Studios were on his list too.

The cast’s LA wishlist

The same clip caught the Ramayana team in a light, unscripted mood:

  • Yash: Disneyland with his children
  • Sai Pallavi: Century City Mall
  • Ranbir Kapoor: Disneyland and Universal Studios
  • Group picks: the Broad Museum and the Chinese Theatre

Ranbir’s studio milestone

Ranbir reflected on the American morning news appearance as a career moment, calling the experience “quite surreal.” He said having watched so much American television while studying in New York made the studio visit feel humbling and amazing.

The contrast between that high-stakes setting and Yash’s Disneyland plan is part of the film’s final-leg charm: the cast is hitting global milestones while still sounding like excited tourists.

Why the dad detail lands

For a production this size, small human moments do a lot of work. Ranbir revealed that Yash had been keeping a close eye on the weather forecast before taking the kids out. A smiling Yash confirmed, “Yeah! I got the weather report here.”

That blend of promotional duty and parental planning makes a mythological spectacle feel grounded. It also gives fans an easy, shareable beat in a week otherwise dominated by release logistics.

The release picture

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana: Rise of a Legend releases on November 5, with special screenings and early previews reportedly set for November 4. The film also stars Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshmana.

So the arrows and battles are coming. But for one afternoon, the actor stepping into a legend was just a parent with a park plan.
