Naga Chaitanya’s Vrushakarma locks December 4, 50 days out

Naga Chaitanya’s Vrushakarma has a new poster and a confirmed worldwide release date of December 4, 2026, with 50 days to go.

Vrushakarma locks December 4 with 50 days to go

Naga Chaitanya’s next Telugu outing has a date, and the promotional machine is now counting down in earnest. The makers of Vrushakarma have released a fresh poster that reconfirms the mystical adventure thriller will arrive in theatres worldwide on December 4, 2026.

The date had been announced earlier, but the new poster gives the campaign a visible milestone. It also builds on the title and first look that were unveiled on Chaitanya’s birthday last year.

A new poster, a 50-day countdown

The new image shows Chaitanya in full adventure gear, with backpacks, harnesses and ropes. He is captured mid-action, throwing a grappling-hook-like device against a dusty, atmospheric background. Alongside the poster, the production house wrote that “the countdown to a world beyond imagination is on” and added that there are 50 days left before the film’s worldwide release.

The announcement is essentially a date reaffirmation rather than a new reveal, but it gives the campaign a clear countdown hook. For audiences, it is also a reminder that the film is being positioned as a big-screen event.

The world of Vrushakarma

The film’s teaser had already set up a dark supernatural world. Sparsh Srivastava, best known for Laapataa Ladies, appears in a mysterious role, sketching haunting drawings before he seemingly falls under the influence of sinister powers. The voice-over then introduces the central mythology: whenever a powerful supernatural force awakens, destiny chooses a protector called a Vrushakarma to stop it.

Chaitanya’s character is shown on a treasure hunt before he is introduced as the man chosen to face this evil, described as a Yuva Samrat.

Cast and crew

Karthik Dandu directs Vrushakarma. Alongside Chaitanya, the film features Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead and Sparsh Srivastava in a negative role. The music is composed by Ajaneesh Loknath.

  • Release date: December 4, 2026, worldwide
  • Director: Karthik Dandu
  • Lead cast: Naga Chaitanya, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sparsh Srivastava
  • Music: Ajaneesh Loknath

Why fans should mark the date

For Hindi and Telugu film fans who enjoy supernatural adventures, Vrushakarma has several draws: a chosen-one mythology, a star-led treasure hunt, and an antagonist played by a performer who has already earned attention in Hindi cinema. The teaser’s moody imagery and the new poster’s action-forward frame suggest the film will lean into genre spectacle rather than a simple star vehicle.

With 50 days to go, expect the marketing to become more frequent. The clear date also makes it easy for moviegoers to plan a theatre visit, especially if the campaign keeps promising the strongest big-screen experience of the year.
