Saif Ali Khan has turned a pending prize into prime comedy. On Netflix’s The Great Indian Kapil Show, he told Kapil Sharma that the famous two-year Gowardhan ghee supply from his Kaun Banega Crorepati stint has still not reached him — and neither has his cheque.

Saif’s wide-eyed reaction — and his line, “This is it; this is why I came” — became instant clipping material.

Fans later described him as a “Gen Z born in the wrong era” for the unfiltered response.

What Saif clarified on Kapil’s couch

Kapil read out a fan comment linking Saif’s recent Instagram debut to his ghee excitement. The actor used the moment to set the record straight. “I just want to clear one thing. I haven’t even received the ghee yet,” he said. He added, “Even my cheque’s not come.”

The response set off fresh fan demands for the channel and the show to deliver the prize.
